Yurt with sauna and pond

Primeval Drenthe is spending the night in peaceful nature, in a yurt with your own sauna and pond. Make a campfire at night and enjoy the crackling, and gaze at the stars at night. In the morning you will wake up to the sounds of local fauna, and you can wash in the lake or under our solar shower. It may sound like a fairytale, but we offer it all. Did you know you can even camp during winter?

Yurt

The yurt is built on the grounds behind our farm. It is around 5 meters accross and is furnished with a two-person sofa bed, 2 lounging chairs with soft pillows and a small table to eat at. There is a small counter with a fridge and kettle, as well as coffee, tea, sugar and milk. Everything you need to cook is available. There is a heater as well.

Sauna

Our wood-fired sauna is built in an old site office. The towels are ready for you. Feel free in our small natural grounds, surrounded by trees and wooden embankments. Cool off in the pond, tub or under the solar shower. But the terrain is also spacious enough to comfortably cool in the air. Afterwards you can rest in the heated yurt where you can choose to be massaged (please book beforehand).

Campfire

If you are of an adventurous disposition, than making your own campfire is an essential part of your stay. Even if you do not want to use the sauna, you are free to light a fire. A fun activity to do with your partner, son or daughter, and afterwards you can sleep in the yurt or under the night sky. An adventure that you will not easily forget. If you have any other ideas, feel free to share them so we can help set them up. This is the coolest playground in Drenthe.

Outdoor ktchen with wood-fired heater and barbecue

We have recently built a shelter next to the yurt so you can outside during rain and wind. It contains a small stove with two pits, a heater and barbecue. The terrain is low-radiation. There is electricity but no Wi-Fi. Mobile phone service can be dodgy. Around the farm reception is better, and there is Wi-Fi as well.

We built an old site office into a wood-fired sauna. You can light it yourself or have us do it for you.

Our sauna contains wood and towels. There is also water with ethereal oils. Bathrobes and slippers can be rented, or you can bring them yourself.

You descend the stairs into the natural body of water. Take a plunge or wash yourself. Afterwards you can step into the tub or the solar shower.

Feel free to ask about the possibilites, and we will try to work something out with you.

You can stay in our yurt for €85,- per night for 2 guests. Additional guests and children can be indicated beforehand. We do offer an additional bed or tent for children. (children up to 3 years old stay for free: children between 4 and 12 get a 50% discount). Use of the sauna costs €35,- per halfday and a wheelbarrow full of wood for the heater or campfire costs €12,50.
